ARCANUM CANAL

The Arcanum Canal leads from The Corsair Sea, through the city of Arcanum, through to The Nightingale and Castalia, beyond.  

The legendary pirate, Ang Attys was condemned death for murder on the high seas during the Grand Corsair Age. Terrified, Attys and his crew were goaded through the shoals of the Arcanum Canal, promised leniency. Once near center on the Nightingale, the pirate ship, called the Blur of Narshe, was put to blaze. All perished within and every Castalian, young and old, bore witness to Fatherland justice to Piracy.
