The Nightingale is a large lake positioned near the center of the Main Continent in the Fatherland. On the banks of this crucial water source sits the FL capital of Castalia. The Standard Text of Baethylism tells of the ancient wars fought between the gods themselves. During these cosmic wars, the Stone Immortal, Father Baethyl, from the head of the Nightingale, commanded his armies seated upon his immense Alluvium Throne. Part of this original throne is said to make up the modern Alluvium Throne that is the seat of the current Caliche Demigod.
