The End of It All
We sit now at the gate of fate.
And we watch the sky evaporate.
As it pours down the worst acid rain.
It could blind our eyes and fry our brains.
And we dream of yesterday,
When the sun’s warmth fell upon our face.
But now it’s dark skies and loud cries.
Wide eyes!
Simply our demise.
Goodbyes.
They lasted all night long.
Soon the differences past and we sang this tune.
And welcomed the end of our lives.
Yeah, we welcomed the end of the life.
And of our lies.
Truly on the last day of the earth.
We watched the fire rain down as the
Common love would magnify our worth.
Here, at the end of it all.
